Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
Subtle tweets to BFS as a coach. Has had an impact in our recent form.

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
Certainly looks like he's enjoying it and the players with him . to be fair they all look good fun no wonder Pearce brought in for a bit seriousness. That is a good coaching team Moyes has put together seems a bit of everything.

He is one of the most animated of our coaching team. Jumping about shouting at the players. Looks like a good influence on the squad to me.

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
I have a mate who supports Notts County. Said he was actually doing ok and the club were definitely improved when Nolan was in charge but he was moved on due to reports of getting pissed up all the time at local pubs/clubs? Same at Orient. No problem with the work he did but he loves a good drink. In the old days no problem but like everything nowadays you have to be squeeky clean.

2012–13 Premier League 35 app 10 goals
2013–14 Premier League 33 app 7 goals

I loved him, but a lot of timber on since he retired tho.

Couldn't stand the chicken thing, but scored some important and good goals for us, put that cross in at the play off final. Makes him alright in my book.

Father Ted is a far superior experienced coach over Nolan.

Not a fan of Nolan, couldn't stomach him when he played for us or his cunt of a boss.

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
He was past his best when BFS brought him in but he clearly did the job as “manager” on the field through our promotion and establishing seasons.

Nolan is a junior member of a team of five under Moyes but I reckon his contribution is a minor part of what is happening atm.

I can't stand him and it grates me seeing him on the touchline pulling faces with a West Ham tracksuit on.

Freudian slip there, Rodent son?

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
I like Nolan. Good club captain, decent player, committed etc. And is keen to become a good coach.

But let's not go overboard and suggest that our results of late are down to him alone.

I am sure he is a valued member of Nolan's coaching staff, but his two key roles are to bridge the relationship between the playng squad and senior management.

And to work with the younger players that are coming into the first team squad and take coaching sessions with those players.

The fact that wanker Mcmanaman referred to him as super Kev tells you all you need to know.

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
This won't necessarily be popular on here but I've always liked him- including as a player and captain for us.

I know he was a bit slow/unfit/lazy at times but chipped in with a good amount of goals for a few seasons and was a good captain and leader. Actually I'm pretty chuffed for him that he seems to have the makings of a good coach.

Re: Kevin Nolan's Claret & Blue Army
He’s made a living at the top level of the game despite having the physical attributes proper to a pub team. He’s definitely doing something right and it hasn’t got much to do with just kicking the ball and running around.

I can't fucking stand Nolan, fwiw. Know his type all too well.
